A reducer is a new type of transmission device that applies the principle of planetary transmission and uses cycloidal pinwheel meshing. So, how should we maintain it in daily use to better extend its lifespan?
1. Regularly check whether the parts are abnormal. If there are any abnormalities, please refer to the manual or other materials for inspection. If necessary, replace the parts. Rotate the gearbox and check if there are any abnormalities.
2. Control the flow rate and head of the reducer within the range indicated on the label to ensure that the reducer operates smoothly and achieves significant energy-saving effects.
3.During the operation of the reducer, the bearing temperature shall not exceed 35 ℃ of the ambient temperature, and the high temperature shall not exceed 80 ℃.
4.If any abnormal sound is found in the gearbox, the vehicle should be stopped immediately to check the cause.
5. To stop using the reducer, first close the gate valve and pressure gauge, and then stop the motor.
6.When not in use for a long time and used in cold winter, after parking, the drain plug at the lower part of the reducer body should be unscrewed to completely discharge the medium. Prevent frost cracking (if there is sewage, please clean the gearbox cavity with clean water).
7.When not in use for a long time, it should be cleaned and lifted, stored in a ventilated and dry place, and pay attention to antifreeze. If placed in water, the gearbox should be operated for at least 30 minutes every 15 days (dry grinding is not allowed) to check if its functions are complete.
8. Check the cable at least once a year, and replace it if it is damaged.
9. Listen carefully and see if the sound of the gearbox motor running is abnormal. Due to the loud noise inside the engine compartment during operation, you can use auxiliary tools such as screwdrivers or listening sticks to carefully listen to the two ends of the motor. If you listen frequently, not only can you detect the poor vibration of the motor and its driving equipment, but you can also judge whether the internal bearing oil is sufficient, so as to take timely measures such as adding bearing oil or replacing new bearings to prevent the motor bearings from getting stuck due to lack of oil, dry grinding, taking the outer circle, and cleaning.
After the gearbox malfunctions, please remove it according to the prescribed troubleshooting method. If the problem still cannot be solved and the cause cannot be determined, do not disassemble and repair it without authorization. Immediately seek specialized personnel for repair.
