Surface damage treatment and usage techniques for reducers

1.How to deal with gearbox damage:
1.Once the bearings are severely worn, overloaded, or impacted, causing slight deformation or bending of the gearbox bearings, rotor sweeping may occur. The result of sweeping the chamber can be described as scratching the surface of the iron core, causing wear and tear of the iron core and burning of the winding shell. The power should be cut off immediately, and the reducer should be stopped and checked immediately.
2. The silicon steel sheet at the scratched part of the iron core is annealed due to overheating caused by friction, resulting in a decrease in the magnetic permeability of the silicon steel sheet. If not treated immediately, as the insulation of the reducer iron core ages, eddy currents continue to increase, leading to an increase in the temperature rise of the reducer and causing the micro motor to overheat or even burn out.
3. Winding insulation breakdown short circuit or winding to ground short circuit can cause arcing, resulting in burns on the surface of the iron core, which is often uneven. This not only affects the normal operation of the gearbox, but also causes short circuits between the silicon steel sheets, resulting in increased eddy currents in the iron core.
2. Tips for using a gearbox:
1.When the oil temperature exceeds 80 ℃ or the oil pool temperature exceeds 100 ℃ and abnormal noise is generated during work, stop using it immediately and check the cause first. Make sure to troubleshoot and replace the lubricating oil before continuing to operate.
2.When changing the oil, wait for the gearbox to cool down and there is no risk of combustion, but still keep it warm because after complete cooling, the viscosity of the oil increases and it is difficult to drain.
3. After running for 200-300 hours, the oil should be changed, and the quality of the oil should be regularly checked during future use. For oil mixed with impurities or deteriorated, it must be replaced in a timely manner.
4. Users should have reasonable usage and maintenance rules and regulations, and strictly follow them according to the regulations.
