Reducer is a machine commonly used in our industrial production, which provides a lot of help for our production operations. However, recently some users have reported that after using the equipment for a period of time, their work efficiency has decreased. What is the reason for this? After organizing some information, the editor found that the equipment has accumulated some dirt over time. In fact, it is not only on the appearance, but also on the internal parts. If dirt adheres to the parts, it will cause the running speed of the parts to slow down. Because the internal parts are inseparable from the whole, the efficiency of the entire equipment will correspondingly slow down. Therefore, in order to improve the operating efficiency of the reducer, we need to carry out reasonable cleaning work on its equipment parts. How should we do it specifically? Today, the editor will take you to learn about it.
1. Remove the upper housing of the gearbox. If the device has a half coupling, first remove the half coupling, then remove the fixing bolts, screw the nut onto the bolt and keep it properly, and check whether the upper shell is damaged or cracked; Mark the assembly and remove the bearing end cover.
First, check for any missing bolts or other abnormal situations. After confirming that they are correct, use a top screw to lift the upper shell and place it on the prepared cushion plate; Afterwards, use a feeler gauge or lead wire method to measure the clearance between each bearing. Multiple points should be measured for each set of bearings and recorded; Afterwards, drain the lubricating oil from the gearbox and store it in a dedicated oil drum.
2. Drive shaft and driven shaft assembly. Mark the meshing area of the gears, hang them out, and place each gear assembly on a dry wooden board. Arrange them neatly and securely to prevent damage, and then disassemble the bearings and gears of each shaft.
3. Clean the bearings, housing, and gears with kerosene to prepare for subsequent inspection of the gearbox.
Many users do not take it seriously when they discover dirt on the internal parts of the gearbox, thinking that it does not have a significant impact on the equipment. In fact, the appearance of dirt not only reduces its work efficiency, but over time, it can cause equipment failure problems, seriously affecting the operation of the machine and even gradually damaging the equipment. Therefore, everyone must regularly clean the equipment and parts, not just the surface of the equipment.
The above is all about cleaning the internal parts of the gearbox. I hope it can be helpful to everyone.
