What oil should be added to the electric drum of the mixing plant

The stable operation of the electric drum in the mixing plant relies on oil, and there are requirements for the amount and type of oil. Due to the wide variety and specifications of rollers, many users may have doubts when refueling. In fact, what kind of oil to add to electric rollers depends on different types.
Before refueling the electric drum of the mixing plant, the internal oil level of the drum should be checked. The oil level should be 2/5 of the drum diameter, and the motor wiring should be checked for correctness. The drum must be started with no load.
The electric drum of the mixing plant should use N46 mechanical oil or N32 turbine oil. The selection of these oils is based on the following considerations:
N46 mechanical oil is recommended due to its wide availability and good lubrication performance. This oil has good fluidity and viscosity, suitable for the lubrication needs of electric drums.
N32 turbine oil is suitable for oil immersed drums because it has a lower viscosity, which helps with better penetration and lubrication effects.
In addition, N150 medium load industrial gear oil (equivalent to SAE90 automotive gear oil) is also a good choice because it exhibits better performance in gear lubrication.
These recommendations are based on the working environment and lubrication requirements of the electric drum in the mixing plant, ensuring long-term stable operation and reducing wear of the drum. When selecting lubricating oil, physical and chemical properties such as viscosity, flash point, and pour point should also be considered to ensure that the performance of the oil matches the requirements of the drum.
At the same time, for different types of lubricating oil products, their quality should be measured by factors such as viscosity, flash point, pour point, oxidation stability, abrasion resistance, bearing capacity, corrosion test, and impurities, in order to help the electric drum of the mixing plant work better.
